Overview
The End of the Year Giveaway is a contest where business owners and service providers come together with one common goal – to shower love and adoration on deserving individuals in the community.
Each year, we collaborate with business owners and service providers in the St. Mary's & Calvert Co. area who collectively donate in-kind products and services as a way to promote their business and as an expression of love towards deserving individuals in the community.

Our primary goal is to bless others, be it someone in need of a boost to fulfill a dream or a community servant who simply deserves honor, while simultaneously building a coalition of business owners with a benevolent heart. We aim is to boost the confidence of each honoree by way of the products and gifts they receive, inclusive of mentorship and in-kind services donated by participating businesses.

We desire to grow our pool of donations so that we can bless more individuals each year.
History
The EOTYG started in 2015 when we gifted a mother during the Christmas holidays with a photoshoot and hair styling services, and her children with clothing and toys. I was blown away at the overwhelming response of those were willing to help, so I decided to make this an annual occurrence.

Every year we’ve sought nominations for deserving individuals. At present we honor 3 people a year since the program’s inception, having honored 12 people in total.

What's Next?
For a few years now, I’ve taken a step back from the End of the Year Giveaway—not because the mission lost its power, but because life shifted. I entered a new chapter focused on building my family: marriage, motherhood, and everything in between. That season required my full presence, and I gave it wholeheartedly.
But EOTYG never left my heart.

This initiative was born from love and community, and I’ve seen firsthand the impact it has when we come together to honor and uplift those who deserve it most. As life begins to settle into a new rhythm, I would love to relaunch EOTYG and make it bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever before.

To do that, I'm pulling on my community.

I'm calling on beauty industry professionals, service providers, and business owners in the Southern Maryland area—those with a heart to give back—to partner with me once again. If you're willing to donate your time, talents, or in-kind services (hair, makeup, mentorship, photography, gifts, etc.), or if you'd like to contribute financially to help us expand this vision, your support could help us bless even more lives this year. Together, we can remind our community what love in action looks like.
